The KMA 80 R battery-powered KombiEngine is designed for tackling a range of challenging tasks around the home garden while offering maximum flexibility. Compatible with various KombiTools, it features a quick-release coupling with a tommy screw, allowing for easy, tool-free attachment changes.
As the first KombiEngine in the STIHL AK System, the KMA 80 R operates quietly, making it suitable for use in noise-sensitive areas. It is powered by a robust brushless EC motor and is balanced for easy handling with different KombiTools. The engine speed can be adjusted directly from the control handle with two settings: ECO mode for reduced energy consumption and extended battery life, or full speed for maximum performance. Some KombiTools may also allow for infinite speed adjustment.
The loop handle, featuring soft components, provides flexibility and ease of movement in tight spaces. It can be adjusted to suit your height for an ergonomic working position. For extended use, attach the STIHL basic harness to the rotating eyelet for added comfort. An optional STIHL protective foot is available to shield the engine housing and offer an additional grip.
